This position provides safe
and effective drug therapy that cures or arrests disease,
eliminates symptoms, or prevents disease through identifying,
resolving, and preventing drug related problems.
This position requires a B.S. in Pharmacy; a minimum
one year related work experience; a working knowledge
of all aspects of pharmaceutical care; the ability to
prepare a patient work-up and retrieve relevant patient
and lab data; excellent pharmacokinetic skills; the ability
to operate a computer; excellent communication skills;
extensive knowledge of drug therapy, monitoring, dosing,
and disease treatment; the ability to supervise others;
the ability to attend to detail; a working knowledge
of Federal and State pharmacy laws; the ability to review
and assess medical literature; excellent interpersonal
skills; and strong organizational skills.
Licensure requirements for this position include a Washington
State Board
of Pharmacists license, a Washington State Board of Pharmacy. |
