In this position you have the opportunity to oversee
three brand new state of the art units and a brand
new cath lab. Reporting to the CNO, you will have a
chance to oversee 25 beds and 75 FTE's total, including
two managers. This unit has been well run for the past
several years, and has a well trained staff. They need
a leader that that can take them to the next level
and provide an environment that supports growth.
You must be an BSN to qualify for an interview, and
a Masters degree would be preferred. Leadership 2-3

look at experience over BSN, if candidate has Associates.

Reporting to the CNO, you will oversee 120 FTE's and
three managers. This ER currently sees 50,000 visits
annually and is growing quickly. As the Director of
Emergency Services you will be responsible for the
budget, planning, marketing and ensuring the continual
growth of the department. You will mentor managers
that oversee the day to day and clinical operations
of the department.
A bachelor's is required and you must be a registered
nurse to qualify for an interview. Three years as a
manager in an ER setting is also strongly preferred.

- Establishes objectives for Nursing Service and
organizational structure, functions and activities
for achieving objectives.
- Participates in activities related to the hospital's
organizational programming, goal setting and policy
development.
- Monitors Nursing Service activities on an ongoing
basis to identify and resolve problems related to
patient care.
- Provides input into the development, allocation
and administration of the Nursing Service budget.
- Provides formal liaison between Nursing Service
and the Medical Staff.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to
the delivery of nursing care and the strategies for
examining and applying relevant concepts.
- Knowledge of current leadership, management, and
quality improvement concepts and the ability to participate
in the development and implementation of organizational
strategies to address opportunities to improve the
delivery of nursing care to patients.
Must be a graduate of an NLN accredited school of
nursing with B.S.N; Evidence of a plan to obtain the
knowledge and skills associated with a master degree
in nursing related field and five years of nursing
experience which has provided progressive opportunities
to refine administrative skills.
